2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Mino service available at mino.live ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including Trial and Premium plan subscribers.
3. Description of Service
Mino is an AI-powered endurance coaching platform that:
- Connects to your Garmin account to read biometric and activity data (HRV, Body Battery, sleep, readiness, activities).
- Connects to your Strava account to read activity data (runs, rides, and other sports) via the Strava API, with your explicit authorisation.
- Provides personalised coaching advice via a conversational AI interface powered by Google Gemini.
- Delivers daily morning briefings and weekly training reports (Premium plan).
- Sends push notifications to your browser or device (with your consent).
Mino is a coaching tool, not a medical device. Advice provided by the AI is for informational and training guidance purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Mino. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Mino on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
5. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Notify us immediately at contact@mino.live if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Not share your account with others.
- Not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.
6. Plans, Pricing & Billing
Trial
Every new account receives a 10-day free Trial with full access to all features, including unlimited AI coach messages, daily briefings, sync & report, and activity analysis. No payment information is required to start the Trial. When the Trial expires, your account becomes read-only until you upgrade to Premium.
Premium
The Premium plan is billed monthly at €9.99/month. All prices are displayed in EUR (Euro). Premium includes unlimited messages, daily briefings, sync & report, and activity analysis. Billing is handled by NETOPIA. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled.
Vouchers & Referrals
Voucher codes and referral rewards grant temporary Premium access. These are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated. Referral codes may only be used at registration and cannot be applied retroactively. Referral bonuses are activated when the invited user connects their Garmin account. Self-referral is not permitted.
Cancellation
You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Premium access until then.
7. Delivery Policy
Mino is a digital service (SaaS). Upon successful payment or activation of a voucher/referral code, access to the Premium plan features is granted immediately and automatically — no physical delivery is involved. If access is not activated within a few minutes of payment, please contact us at contact@mino.live.
8. Cancellation & Refund Policy
You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from the Settings page in your account. Upon cancellation:
- Your Premium access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- No further charges will be made after cancellation.
- After the billing period ends, your account becomes read-only. Your data is preserved.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at contact@mino.live within 14 days of the charge and we will review your case.
9. Garmin Integration
By connecting your Garmin account, you authorise Mino to access your Garmin Connect data on your behalf. You can disconnect your Garmin account at any time from Settings, which will stop further data syncing and delete your stored Garmin credentials. You remain subject to Garmin's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
10. Strava Integration
By connecting your Strava account, you authorise Mino to access your Strava activity data via the Strava API using OAuth 2.0. Specifically:
- Mino requests the
activity:read_allscope, which allows reading your activities (including private ones). - Upon connecting, Mino imports your last 10 activities and subsequently receives new activities automatically via Strava webhooks as soon as they are recorded.
- You can disconnect your Strava account at any time from Settings, which will stop further data syncing and delete your stored Strava credentials.
- Mino does not write any data back to your Strava account.
You remain subject to Strava's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated tools to send messages to the AI coach at a rate that exceeds normal human usage.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits, access controls, or billing mechanisms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
12. AI-Generated Content
Coaching advice, briefings, and reports are generated by an AI model (Google Gemini) and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional medical, nutritional, or physiological advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to your training, especially if you have a medical condition or injury. Mino is not liable for any harm resulting from following AI-generated recommendations.
13. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and design elements of the Service are owned by Mino or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of any data you provide (profile information, conversation content), and grant Mino a licence to use it solely to operate and improve the Service.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable. Garmin data availability depends on Garmin's own infrastructure and is outside our control.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mino shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
16. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be deleted within 30 days of account deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania and applicable European Union regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania.
In accordance with EU Regulation 524/2013, consumers may use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for out-of-court dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
